Photography Week: Giving Back

While we are enjoying the amazing advice from our two photographers this week, I thought I would take a moment to feature a program that gives back to the community.

Basically, this is a worldwide event that occurs in December. Photographers are asked to volunteer to take pictures of those in need. Some of the participants have never had a family picture taken; some have not had individual portraits taken in years, even decades. This service gives something to people that they may not ever be able to give to themselves.

Check it out. Participate. Donate. Think about it. Pray about it. Do whatever you are moved to do. It’s a pretty cool project.
