When I received the spring preview packet from Belk, I was in awe of all the bright colors. Considering their theme is “bright now,” I’d say my reaction was pretty accurate. 🙂
Belk has divided the spring trends in their preview packet into 4 style statements:
- American original
- shape shift
- so pretty
- 70s glam

think stripes, polka dots, and color blocking. think classic styles with updated elements. think statement necklaces. and think all of this in color!

think symmetry. now think the opposite. think art deco. think platforms. this is shape shift.

think romance. think feminine touches like ruffles and lace. think light, airy fabrics. think flowers and patterns that are just so pretty.

think shapes and structure that resemble the trends of the 70s – think maxi skirts. think wide leg pants. think long necklaces and again, think platforms.
There’s something for everyone in these 4 style statements. Personally, I’m most excited about the light, airy fabrics of the so pretty statements, as well as the drama of the 70s glam wide leg pants.
