Dressing for Your Shape: Petites

Tuesday, I posted the first tip I discovered for dressing a petite body. I hope you took the time to read the post, as well as the sources I provided. Today, I want to post another tip I found.

Tip #2: Take the time to find the perfect fit.

  • Avoid bulky clothing. (This should really be a tip for all – not just petites.)
  • Buy petite sizes.
  • Tailor, tailor, tailor.

These ideas may seem pretty obvious, and to some extent, they are, but it’s important to remember that finding the perfect fit takes time. It may require you to try on more clothing, to spend extra time in the dressing room and in front of the mirror, to ask your friends for their honest opinion and be willing to accept it, and to visit your tailor frequently. It may sound inconvenient, but it seems like the end result is worth it.
