What to Wear on Valentine’s Day

Valentine’s Day falls in the middle of the week this year, so if you plan to celebrate that evening, you may want to choose a look that can easily transition from day to night. That’s one of the reasons I love today’s outfit. It’s perfect for a weekday Valentine’s Day.

First, the bold colors and pattern lend a splash of fun to the look. I chose to do a little color clashing with an oxblood pencil skirt and orange animal print top.

Second, the classic shapes of the pencil skirt and black cardigan keep the look chic.

If you can pull off bold color in the office, this is a perfect look for you. Plus, swap out the straight lines of the pencil skirt for something a little more fun and flirty and lose the cardi for a perfect date night outfit!
