Fitness Friday

To kick off the year, I am devoting Fridays to fitness…at least for this month. I know a lot of people add fitness goals to the new year’s resolutions, and most could use a little encouragement or inspiration along the way. So please join me on Fridays to hear from other people who have different interests in fitness.

you've seen me before, yes?

You might be wondering what fitness has to do with fashion. Maybe nothing directly. But, in my opinion…

the most important thing you can wear is confidence!

And many of us are less than confident in our fitness abilities.

Today, I’ve asked Shelby Heator, a fitness instructor and trainer in Chicago, to share her thoughts with you about the benefits of personal training.

Why hire a Personal Trainer?

It’s that time of year again when everyone’s resolution is to “get into shape”. Instead of being overwhelmed by January madness at the gym, one should take a look at the benefits of having a personal trainer. A personal trainer will develop a routine dedicated to your fitness goals and needs. Not only will you be motivated by your trainer to actually get to the gym, but also motivated and directed through a tailored workout that will lead to results.

If you think of 1-on-1 personal training as boring or expensive, consider splitting the cost with a friend(s). This style of training has shown to increase motivation, attendance and attitude during a training session.

So this year skip the chaos and guarantee yourself success by hiring a personal trainer!
